Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss: Review and Photos

Revlon Colorburst Lipglosses. Top to bottom: Bronze Shimmer, Sunset Peach, and Peony.

I  just counted 10 lip products in my purse. Yep, 10. I like to have options—and one of these babies regularly finds it way into the mix. Revlon Colorburst Lipglosses are wonderfully smooth, hydrating, and non-sticky glosses that provide a sheer, shimmery, shiny wash of colour that's great for a grab-and-go lip.

I have three to show you today: Bronze Shimmer is a light brown, Sunset Peach is a light peachy-coral, and Peony, my favourite of the bunch, is a lovely candy-pink. All have a doe-foot applicator. I wouldn't call these glosses especially long-wearing, but they feel wonderful on and leave a lovely shimmer behind when the gloss wears away.

Here are some swatches:

The verdict: Definitely worth a try.

Rating: Four and a half stars out of five. A tad pricey for a drugstore product at $10 in my opinion, but still a great product.

Available: Drugstores such as Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs, as well as retailers like Target and Walmart that sell drugstore-quality cosmetics.

Have you tried any of these Revlon glosses? What did you think?

Disclosure: I received these in a complimentary gift bag at a blogging event.
