I've managed to collect a troubling (for me) number of nail polishes in the last year or so, but China Glaze's Don't Make Me Wine is, hands-down, my favourite. I received it as part of a (fabulous) goody bag at a blogging event not long ago, and I didn't even know I liked metallic polishes at the time. But, my friends, this looks like liquid applied to the nails. Even before I knew the name—and it's fitting—I thought, "My nails look like delicious pools of Merlot." Mmmmmm....
It was opaque after one coat, which is awesome. Chipping on day two was less awesome. But I'll forgive it and give it another chance. Maybe it needs two coats. Maybe I need to break down and start wearing gloves while I wash dishes. Maybe I need to blow kisses at it while it dries. Any tips, fellow China Glaze wearers?
Have you tried Don't Make Me Wine by China Glaze? What about other metallic polishes? Are you digging them?
Disclosure: I received this item in a complimentary gift bag at a blogging event.
