Nails of the Day: Champagne Problems by Trust Fund Beauty

Not terribly long ago, at a little Vancouver beauty bloggers meet-up, I had the privilege of meeting the lovely Stephanie of She's So Eco. Stephanie, a green-beauty-product aficionado,  introduced us to a new line of nail polish called Trust Fund Beauty. In addition to the haute packaging and naughty-ish names such as "I'm Kind of a Big Deal" and "Nip Slip," Trust Fund Beauty products are both cruelty-free and five-free, which means they're made without formaldehyde, camphor, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, and formaldehyde resin. Yay for being non-toxic!

The colour featured above, Champagne Problems, is described as a metallic gold. As far as golds go, it's on the lighter side (less yellow and brassy than some). It also contains tiny specks of glitter. In my view, it's fun enough for a party, but classy enough for the office. It's opaque in one coat, though I'm wearing two in the photo above for good measure. It also lasts a few days on me without chipping, which, for me, is par for the course with most nail polishes. One thing to note about this polish is that it's a bit on the thin side—watch out for drips.

What do you think? Will you be trying any of Trust Fund Beauty's nail polishes?
